Thanks for the information Donski, Stuart.
I've learned something today.

In 'those days' I used the Power Cartridge's build in monitor to go into the memory. Just as an extra I looked up the Save command in the manual but there wasn't anything mentioned about the issue. It only states S ...

I can confirm the bug is there, just tried it.

This is what I did:
1-ALT M into the monitor
2-M2000 [enter], this works
3-ALT TAB to Firefox
4-Taskbar icon clicking CCS64 3.0 Beta 1.7
5-M2000 will not work, the 2 will clear the input line
It appears some other 0-9 keys also do not function ...

I tried it out by saving block C000-CFFF expecting the save to be 4096 bytes. However, it did not. There were only 4095 bytes. Apparently the last byte at CFFF is missing.

For v2 I use a full screen size of 400x300. This works fine.
800x600 will produce scanlines, I think this is what your problem is.
There is no way of removing the scanlines in 800x600 as far as I know.

Press ALT + 8 and find the second disk/side 2. Press F4 to 'insert' the disk.
Now in the game press the firebutton (most often, or try the spacebar) to tell the game you have inserted disk2/side 2.

Yep, there seems to be a bug with this. It just doesn't work, just like Mmmm described. When I added ,1 to the filename, to state it should load the first file of the D64 image, it returned this (the @ are inversed):
LOAD "@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@",8,1
PRESS PLAY ON TAPE
