S.A.M Emulation (Sam.d64) Help
Hello -
- does anybody have these files (Sam.d64 or samspk.d64) ? - I really want to get them working but have not been having much luck - I guess I must be doing something wrong - If anyone does use either of these S.A.M emulations or knows of another one - please (if you have the time) can you give me a breif description of how to load/get them to work - I am dying to get typing!!!! You will find it at Channel 64/Software/Sound/Say it
-Start CCS64
-Press Alt+8
-Search the D64 file using the cursor keys and Enter key
-When you are pointing at the correct D64 image:
Press the Enter key to view contents of D64 image
-Press F1 to "insert" the disk
-type load"sam/reciter",8,1 and press the enter key
you can also use load"*",8,1 instead since it's the first file on the disk
-when ready appears type run and press the enter key
-press the H to select High memory, you will hear a voice
-type load"say it",8,1 and press the enter key
-when ready appears type run and press the enter key
-press the R to select Reciter
-type a line of text and press the enter key to hear the voice
