The Jumpman-like game "Ultimate Wizzard" does not load correctly. CCS64 loads until title screen but after pressing start game a "disk error" appears. Tried everything in the prefs but this game simply does not load.
Edit: Works with -normalload

Title music in "Piracy" defect? - solved
I just tried the game "Piracy" (from ACE Games, board-like game) but the pirate theme music is defect. I tried it on VICE and it works there. No idea what's the reason why CCS64 does not play the music right...
Edit: I found the problem - SID filter emulation. When turning it off, the music in ...

Re: Joystick keys not reacting correctly...
The problem with the joystick is still not totally solved in version 3.9. I still think there is a small bug somewhere in the code - at least it looks like that there is one.
It still happens now and then while playing that the joystick gets stuck at the left position - only left! It looks like ...

Re: CCS64 3.9 crashes on quit
Sorry to say that but why does everybody tell to check DirectX or graphics drivers or some other rhetorical advices? I'm not stupid. What does quitting have to do with DirectX when the program is working ok??? Of course, ALT F4 crashes CCS64 the same way as selecting QUIT in the menu. CCS-2005.exe ...

Re: CCS64 3.9 crashes on quit
The new version is really great - especially that "sync to screen" is working correctly now!
BUT - unfortunately - when quitting cc64.exe it crashes (screen freezes) and I have to start the task manager to kill the task to be able to return to Windows (using full screen mode, screen resolution ...

Re: CCS64 V3.8 release...
Don't you think there should be a beta before final release? You know, sync to screen isn't working since 3.6 and was not repaired until today. And nobody can tell if the "repaired routine" will work in final...

Re: Joystick keys not reacting correctly...
It defuses the situation if sound is set to 22kHz instead of 44kHz. Joystick keys react normal then (at least most of the time). I can not believe that a simple C64 emulator requires a hardware more then a AMD64 X2 4200+ if the specs of CCS64 mention a Pentium PC for normal usage...

Re: How to save files from within games
Unfortunately saving does NOT work if the file is not on a disk image. I have several games in regular directories and as soon as one of them would like to save something (into this regular directory) it hangs exactely at saving...

Don't forget that vsync is not working anymore (since 3.6) - this should be corrected for the next version!

Re: Joystick keys not reacting correctly...
I still think you need a more powerful machine. Try running in full-screen mode and/or reduce your quality settings.
My settings are low quality settings - I'm using full screen with 352 x 288 pixels in 50 Hz and 16 bit color depth. What could I additionally do to improve my situation with CCS64 ...

Joystick keys not reacting correctly...
I'm using CCS64 3.5 as newer versions do not have correct vsync support. I already posted this problem some days ago but I found out that changing settings from 32 to 16 bit does not solve the problem (it must have been an coincidence).
With this version (I didn't try any newer version) I have ...
