Neptune's Daughters Help needed.

Hello all, I can't seem to remembrer how to get past the 4th screen in Neptune's daughters. It's the screen that is bordered by yellw corral, , and some sponge-looking things come at you, and if you shoot one, you can replenish your oxygen by catching it's bubbles. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
