All was good, the emulator had playing games, but while I had added Goldenax.d64, all craches. When I turn on the CCS64, it doesn't starts, after pushing any button it shows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Volume in drive C: is STACVOL_DSK
Errors detected in file C:\GOLDENAX.D64
Error Summary:
Free sector count invalid
1 Files with errors
1 Invalid cluster mapping
Volume mounted read only
Repair drive C? ["yes"/"no"]: Y
Do you wish to have CHECK delete the damaged files listed above to correct all the errors? ["yes"/"no"]: Y
Error #2 clearing attributes for C:\GOLDENAX.D64
Unable to delete C\GOLDENAX.D64
CHECK I/0 control access denied error, #27
while reading FAT 0 from sectors 0 thru 8
Read fault error reading drive D
Abort, Retry, Fail?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
How to fix this problem? How to delete the demage file and CCS64 to run normal? I won't to play games, just to use other software like office, kalendar, solitair & internet. The file GOLDENAX.D64 is in C:\ , while I write C:/.. and "dir", but I don't know more commands in dos or that visual basic. The windows is old, probably 3.1. ot something else. Please, Help me.. I'm trying to prepare that problem more than 4-5 years, and I'm tired.
Please, HELP, I have a problem with starting CCS64

Unfortunately, a Read Fault Error indicates that part of your hard disk has become physically damaged; hence, the file cannot be modified/deleted. There is no software solution to this, since it is not a software fault - it is a hardware failure. You need to upgrade your PC to a newer PC with a new hard disk drive. Luckily, newer PCs are not so expensive nowadays.

So I can't upgrade the console's windows to newer version before changing its harddisc. And there is no matter to repair it at that time, just put on trash it.

No, because upgrading your version of Windows won't eliminate the 'physical' fault with your hard disk. You need a hard disk that is reliable (i.e. not having any physical damage/fault). Since any upgrade of Windows is likely to be more intensive on your hardware (CPU, RAM, hard disk, etc.) anyway, I think it is better overall to upgrade your PC entirely. Unless anybody else has any other advise...? PC systems aren't that expensive nowadays, and I find Windows 7 to be very reliable indeed (CCS64 works fine with Windows 7).
