50Hz modes not listed in video menu

Post by vanfanel »

Hello there!

CCS64 is great, but I just can't select my user-defined 50HZ modes from the video menu. I have a working 720x568@50Hz mode that I use for WinUAE (perfect scroll) and I want to use that mode with CCS64, but it's not listed/selectable!

Then there's the CFG file, but instead of using resolution specific values, the resolution is specified with an integer value...jeez...
Do you have a table of ALL the possible values for resolutions?
Having to manually define a working 50Hz resolution nowadays is hard enough... :D

Otherwise, CCS64 is great! Thanks!

Whoa!! No one knows about this one??

How the hell can you emulate the C64 if you don't use 50HZ modes??
Can't you notice jumpy scroll/graphics??

You can set 50 Hz forced in the Video... settings, as a Custom Refresh Rate.
Kind regards,

Yes, you can, but only if your monitor supports 50 Hz. Does your monitor support 50 Hz? Is it a CRT or a TFT? I never saw a TFT supporting 50 Hz. If you found one, just let me know the details.
