I was using CCS64 v3.6 on my laptop...
I couldn't get ProDOS games (Bard's Tale 3, Wasteland, Dragon Wars) to run using either 'Normal Load', 'Fast Load', or manual load (eg, selecting the boot disk and typing the load and run commands on the C64 screen).
I installed the only other version I had saved previously...v3.0 Beta 1.6...and all three games loaded fine.
Load times are much looooonger with v3.0 Beta 1.6 than v3.6 so I think either something was changed in the way the 1541 is emulated between those versions that made load times faster but broke compatibility with the mentioned games, or I have an option that's different...
In both versions, I have turned on 1541 emulation with one drive and the parallel cable...max speed is off in both versions...using Primary Sound Driver and MOS85** chip in both with same sampling settings...using NTSC 65x263 in both versions...as far as I can tell, all the settings are identical (although screen resolutions appear to work slightly differently in v3.6 from v3.0 Beta 1.6)...
Has anyone got the ProDOS games to load with v3.6?
Excellent work...finally got around to registering...may possibly be the best $30 I've spent in a long time...cheapest drink I've ever taken from the Fountain of Youth...

Have you tried using a different version of the 1541 ROM? Also disable Maximum 1541 Speed, if it is enabled.
Kind regards,
Stuart Toomer.
