Epyx Street Sports Baseball

Hello, firstly, I am a noob...

I'm trying to play Street Sports Baseball, but can't get past the Intro screen (no options at all come up). I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

Try pressing the <SPACE BAR> or a Fire button (depending upon how you have the controls set-up).

I've tried hitting every keyboard key and I've tried several different downloads of the game. Also have left the title screen for several minutes. Space bar gets past the cracked intro, but then game title is stuck, if that helps.
