Can I save to my hardisk?

Sorry if this is a common newbie Q, I did search but came up with no results.

I loved my C64 as it allowed me to write my own programs in basic and this is what I want to use this great emulator for.

However, I cant work out how to save a program I write to my computer rather than a disk or tape.

Is it possible please?

I'm really pleased you guys are keeping the C64 world alive, it was an amazing computer and an important step in home computing. Perhaps when I have the time I'll dig out my old games from the loft too

PS I'm currently using Version 2 until my laptop is fixed as I couldnt get #3 to work on this old computer. Answers for both versions would be very much appreciated thank you.
