Running a game

Okay, I'm completely new to the emulation scene.

I have ccs64, I've set up joystick and sound and all that, and I want to run the game 'ELITE'. What am I supposed to do? Does it simply work if I click the ELITE.D64 file and choose ccs64 as the program to open it in?

Guidance would be greatly appreciated

As soon as you start the emulator hit enter on the drive that is highlighted. Find where you have saved the elite game (I have a games folder inside my C64 folder) and hit F2 or F3 to start loading the game.

He forget to tell that you have to hit "F9". Do that then you will understand...
