C64 Function keys and windows XP

Hi,
I've downloaded the v3.0 emulator OK. Can load games OK. Can't seem to get the function keys (f1,f3,f5,f7, etc) to work. Press these on the laptop keyboard - nothing happens, or rather they don't map. If I press keyboard F1 then I get the message "save 16 colour bitmap", etc. How do I get these keys to work? I'm running Windows XP sp2.

I've had this problem before. There is some sort of strange interference with the menu system - you will need to re-start the emulator to re-set this behaviour. I am running CCS64 V3.0 BETA fine on Windows XP (Home) SP2.
