Total amateur requests help.

I have attempted to install the latest version of the C64 emulator without success. I have created a folder and extracted the files into it. I then clicked on the CCS icon. A window appears and it says running at the bottom. Then two messages appear:
1) Direct 3d init failed - no windowed mode.
2) Direct draw init failed - bltfast.

Can anyone shed any light on my dimness please?.

I think you need a more up-to-date graphics card/driver that supports DirectX.

My system is about 4yrs old and the card is plugged into an AGP slot. Its only something like 8meg but i thought it would be ok. Is there anything else i might try before giving up as i`m not in a position to replace the card at the moment.

Try CCS64 V2.0 BETA instead, which uses older technology.
