pirates! problem with starting.

Hi,

I have some problems with starting the game. I CAN choose to start a new career and all the other questions. At the end it stops and says:

?string too long error in 8620 ready.

Can anybody say what I have to do?

Have you tried the Eagle Soft's version? If not, do that since there are a lot of faulty versions of Pirates! on the web. You can download it from the Gamebase 64 at:
