problem with wraptor3

I was trying to use wraptor3 to decompress the geos boot files (geos is now made freely available). It hangs at various points uncompressing the geosboot file. I was able to successfully do this with vice, but haven't with ccs64 3 beta or 2. I also re-downloaded .wr3 compressed file (in case it was corrupt the first time). Any ideas?
