Need some help please!

I have the latest emulator. I used to love this game when I was a kid... F-14 Tomcat for the Commodore 64/128...I have the 4 *.c64 files for the game...when I double click on the first file of the the 4, the game loads up perfectly and clean and quickly...the entire intro plays and then it gets to the screen where you have to choose whatever the arrow is pointing to...(I guess this is only helpful if you have the game or know it) In any case, I don't have a joystick and have no clue how to get my keyboard to respond to the game...i'm pressing all the letters and numbers and nothing...i only get CCS64 options and whatnot if I hit F-keys or Alt+certain letter shortcut combos... Please someone out there help me out with this lol...I am dying to play this game again...I will send it to you if necessary...shouldn't take someone more then 5 minutes to figure out where I'm going wrong I bet...

I think I figured it out...now I just have to learn the buttons and the software in general...thanks
