Cant get games to work

Post by c64fan2008 »

I had version 3.3 and saw 3.5 was up. In 3.3 I could click to start the game and it would ask me to select the program from the list and it would start right up. In 3.5 it will let me browse and find it but it wont let me add it into the list of programs. I cant get any games to start at all. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out here or somehow post version 3.3 back up, not sure why they take the old version 3s down and leave all the other old versions up.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the list of programs". You can download all CCS64 V3 builds, here is a link for CCS64 V3.3:

Ah! I think it is to do with the association in your Windows Registry. If CCS64 V3.5 isn't installed to the same folder as CCS64 V3.3 was, then the association naturally won't work, sine the folder where CCS.EXE is will be different. If it's that, then it's not a problem with CCS64 - just change your associations in your Windows Registry.
