Problem running CCS64 V3.4

Ok, so I downloaded the newest version of this emulator, and I'm having problem with the menus. I go to the opening menu, select device 8, but here is where the trouble begins. Once I select something off the following menu, I can never go back. So if I select Below the Root disk 1, then need to load disk 2, I can only get the menu for disk 1. I can get to the initial menu and re-select device 8, but it just dumps me back in the the "Below the Root disk 1" list. It's like once I have the Disk 1 in, it won't let me remove it.
It's extremely annoying. How do I get back to the list of all my games?
I hope I'm describing this clearly. I hope even more that someone can help.

Use the cursor-left key to return to a higher level in the menus.
You can open the CCS64 menus with F9 and F10, but there is a difference.
Pressing F10 always displays the main menu, F9 returns to the last selected submenu.
