different error message

Post by dmlindsay90 »

Entry Point Not Found Error

The procedure entry point MakeCriticalSelectionGlobal could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNAL32.dll.

Can anyone shed any light on this message? I have the css.exe (and other associated files) in a folder in my Program Files Folder, is this correct?

Thanks in advance.

Here are some possible tips:

1. Refer to the following MS KB Article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -us;142606
2. Possibly there is a fault with your RAM - try newer RAM.
3. Try upgrading your graphics driver.
4. Possibly some of your OS's DLL files are incorrect - restore these from your Original OS CD-ROM's CAB files, or upgrade your OS to resolve the possible corruption to system files (i.e. upgrade Windows 95/98 to Windows ME or upgrade Windows NT/2000 to Windows XP).

CCS64 V3.0 BETA cannot be used with Windows 95/NT.

Please keep me informed of the solution.
Kind regards,

Stuart Toomer.

Thanks for the info. I am using Windows 2000. That's my dilemma right there.

Hakan is investigating this, but does not immediately recognise calling this procedure. Perhaps the compiler or the Kaillera Client are calling it?
Kind regards,
