Need help with Decision in the Desert and Crusade in Europe.

Post by jrcole »

Hi
Right after I select the scenario and options, it stops with a Hardware Error message. I have tried fast load, slow load, and changing all the drive related parameters under options but no luck. Both games do this at the same point during loading. Can you help?
thanks :?

You need to tell us what the hardware error message says and where you downloaded the game from (provide a link). Perhaps you need the REU enabling?
Kind regards,

The error im getting is this: "Hardware Error, Try Again".
I know my d64 file are fine because both games run perfectly in Frodo. (as long as the 1541 Emulation box is checked. Unchecked it gives me the same error messega). I tried enabling REU and it made no difference. Any other suggestions?
thanks

Try another version of the C1541.ROM file instead.

OK I copied the c1541ROM from frodo (which the game works on) to CCS and still a no go. Although i did not get the error message, the game stopped loading at the usual point. Stuart, can i email you the d64 file so you can see if you can get it to work?
thanks
