Problem with legacy of the ancients

Whenever i download the game and play it it works fine but when i go back and reload it it loads up to the EA logo and freezes. The only way i can get it to work is to delete the game and download it again. Also i still havent figured out how to save my character on the character disk, i have set the option to continuously but everytime i reload the character disk it only goes back to my original save not my most recent one. Any suggestions?

sounds like somoene needs to set 1541 saving to continuously (after backing up the disks first)
