Cannot play "Intrigue!"

Intirgue! was my favorite computer game. Unfortunately, I can't play it - not by commodore emulators nor Apple emulators. I already downloaded the games disks many times from various websites, but none works. Other games work fine on the Commodore emulator. But Intrigue! - after the opening screen, all I see is message that the game is loaded... and time passes, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Is it something with the configuration?
I have the V3.0 Beta version of emulator.

Just tried it usign CCS64 2.0 and am getting the same results you did.

I would try posting a message on the comp.emulators.cbm newsgroup.

For me this version works.
It takes a long time to load the game, but you can see drive activity (scroll lock led lights up) When set "1541 Scroll Lock Led" to On in the Alt/E menu.
You can reduce the loading time by pressing Alt/F3 to increase the clock speed to 500% or by setting "Maximum 1541 speed" to On in Alt/E menu.

Thanks for your help guys, but... still doesn't work.

I downloaded the version you suggested K.C. and configured the emulator, but no avail. I waited for long time - it won't load. Other games load immediately and work fine.
How long exactly does it take on your computer to load the game?

With Maximum 1541 speed set to On, I have to wait about 20 seconds before I get the message "Press [Return] to continue".
If you still have problems, you could try WinVice. You have to set True Drive Emulation in WinVice to On.

At last I can actually play Intrigue.
