problems with key setup

hey. I have problems to play clowns. I can not get the key to function.
I have read that there are others with the same problem here, I have tried to setup port1: joystick,keyset 1. port2:joystick,keyset3 and still nothing happens I cannot move at all.
Can anyone please help me?
