Legal to download games ?

Is it legal to download C64 Games ???

I know the C64 and the games are old but how about the Copyright ???

The copyright has LLOOONNNGG expired, but companies will try to scare you and say that you must own the original. :roll:

The copyrightt for most of the games are STILL VALID.

However, most peopel just don't care, and many companies have legally released their past stuff free for emu usage (you can get most such games at Lemon)

Yes the copyright is valid, but most of the games software companies that owned those copyrights are long gone, example microprose. Therefore making the copyright a void.
