SoundMax Digital Audio Troubles

Yes I know that there are (several) other "Sound Problem" threads, but I have tried the various solutions offered there (even changing the "Window" mode) and nothing has worked yet! I am still getting the imfamous "pop-n-hiss" when using CCS64 V 3, and I'm at my wits end!

Just out of curiostity, where can I search for "Owner Disks" if I run into this problem with other RPGs? (You said in the e-mail that this can be a problem with some RPGs. )

Just had the installing instructions sent to me (wow that was quick! ) and it turns out to be something that I already printed out but was apparently to stupid to actually read before I posted the above plea.

(I'm thinking that it wasn't "funky", after all.... )
