Re: Emulation going too fast
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I verified that I was running at 100% and made sure video update was on automatic. I also tried downloading and installing the emulator on two other machines and it had the same problem. Neither of the two test machines ever had CCS installed. Haven't made any changes to ...

Banner adjustment
It would be nice if there was an option to suppress the big banner that comes on the screen. Like when it says "Maximum 1541 speed" or when you speed toggle, that kind of thing. Be nice if there was an option to just throw it in the status bar at the bottom of the window. It's quite annoying when it ...

Emulation going too fast
Hi. The program used to work fine for me in the past, but I just put the latest copy on my machine because I felt nostalgic for some C64 gaming and when I run it, it runs super fast. It's like I have it on 1000% speed or something, yet the system is showing 100%. I set it to 1% and it does not ...

Maximum 1541 speed change
It would be nice if there was an option to not display the banner when it was speeding up the 1541.

Cool Ultima IV trick
This is another trick I stumbled across when I was a kid. Whilst playing Ultima IV one day I was wandering Britannia. I left Britain and just for grins I took out the Britannia disk and stuck in the Dungeon disk. I walked east toward the bridge and when the game loaded the next map segment from the ...

Cool Bard's Tale III trick
For those of you playing BT3.. I found a nifty trick. Back when I was 15 or so (~20 years ago) playing the game on my C64 I found that if you go to the utilities menu (when the intro is playing I think you hit U) you can choose to transfer a character. Pick any of the Bard's Tales, then insert any ...

Mail Order Monsters issue
Howdy. I recently started replaying MoM thanks to Stuart's kind assistance. Alas, after playing a round in 1 player tournament mode I went back to the meadow, healed my morph and headed out for another battle. When it got to the point where you choose the number of rounds, the emulator stopped ...

Re: how do i format a disk?
Stuart, could I get that cure-all email too please? I'd love to be able to play this again in tournament mode.

Not problem per se, question about 1541 emulation
You know how you can alt-f3 and toggle the whole computer to 500%? I love that, very handy for long load times, but is there any way to set that so it only affects 1541 emulation? I'd like to keep it on constantly but after disk load it makes using the system a PITA because it's too fast, key ...
