General Printing Questions

How does one print from here to a standard printer? When you set the printing to "normal" instead of to file. What exactly is it printing to? I am playing around here with it at work, if it prints to lpt1, I may have inadvertently sent a Dragon Horse to someone elses printer... woops, gotta hate ...

Re: Transferring the real c-64 games over

I fixed the link above... Just in case anyone wants to utilize the service. Keep in mind, this often fails if the original disk has copy protection on it, but you never know.

Re: how do i format a disk?

Can I be CC'd on one of those "magic" emails too? I have my own blank disk that I made and use, which usually works, but just in case this one needs something special I would like to have a back-up. Thanks alot

If I run CCS64 in full screen mode it runs fine.
If I scale it anywhere between while still in a window, from smaller to larger it get progressively more erratic, playing weird beeps and clicks, and garbled sound and slow response ...

Yeah, the image from Maygar specifically states "CCS64" so I had high hopes. As I wrote this I tried one more thing. Of the multitude of images I found for this game, I decided to try using all the disks from one of the versions I found instead of just trying to use there disk 3 with my original ...

Well.... here I am again. New problem.

With the disks from Maygar, now I cant save new characters.

Anytime the game goes to alter data on the disk, I just get a blue screen.

Any ideas?

I am getting this same error on my Toshiba Tecra 8100 Laptop. Yes, it has a really crappy video card, and CCS V2 does work. The Display Adapter is a "S3 Graphics Inc. SavageMX".

I am currently using CCS64 V3.1 on my desktop machine and CCS64 V2.0 B Win 95/98/NT - DirectX on my laptop ...

Well... I did as was suggested for my Moebius problem and downloaded the version from Maygar (I pray that site never closes now)...

I am now simultaneously jumping for joy and crying a river.

Might and Magic 1 - Secret of the Inner Sanctum - Disk 3

I've tried 3 different versions of this d64 set and none of them will recognize disk 3 when I attach it to the drive.

If anyone wants to test, all you have to do is grab some party members and head for the outside area.

When it says to press ctrl you have to press the ~ on your pc keyboard ...

I had this same problem. When you go to ameteur night you get stuck on the fence and can't move. My only solution was... to play the Amiga version.

I tried various things with the 2 names. What I found was another saved game... character name "patrick". It seems that if you have an active adventure with those names in it, you move onto the next one. Sadly, there are only 3 saved adventure slots, so I can get no further with that tactic.

I ...

A lot of the images of RPG games are corrupt in some way and need to be especially- created/patched, in order to work properly (e.g. save character/game data). You could try looking on the Magyar C64 HQ.

I checked out the image at the location you suggested and it appears to be the excact same ...
