problem solved. searched further on the board and found reference to changing the device in the options - sound. Thanx, to all of you, sorry I didn't think to search first!

When I start up ccs64 it stops and brings up a window that says "DirectSoundCreate(): DSERR_ALLOCATED", with an OK button below it. Click ok and it finishes loading just fine and works fine except no sound. Any ideas, don't think it used to do this. Tried reinstalling ccs64 but no change.
