I've read that two USBs don't work well together. I once read about a parallel 2-joystick adapter but I can't find it anymore and I don't know whether it would work with CCS64.
I've only got one PC joystick port (on my sound card) and I don't think analog joysticks really have the right 'feel' for ...

Two joysticks

My last thread seemed to run a little dry. Please can I ask the question:

"What is the best option for using TWO joysticks with CCS64?"

(Win 2000, CCS64 3.0 Beta 1.5)

Thanks.

Certainly workable (and perhaps preferable) for 2 v computer games but for 1 v 1, one person will be at an advantage or disadvantage.

As well as asking this forum, I've also registered my CC64S and asked the question (how to use two joysticks) of the author.

Here's hoping.

Thanks. After I posted, I continued googling and eventually came up with the same sort of answer. The thing I wasn't sure about was whether it would all work with my Evesham Excelerator (rather than Commodore 1541) disk. I decided, in the end, that it probably would and have thus ordered a cable and ...

Yes some of my favs that needed two joysticks were:
Spy v Spy - 1v1
E Hughes International Soccer - 1v1 or 2vcomputer
Wizball - 2vcomputer
Kickstart2 - 1v1

I was probably going to use a hub simply becaus of lack of USB ports but I wouldn't have thought that would make a difference to how the O/S ...

Hmm.. Thanks for that. I've got Win2K (at the moment). I wonder if that would be more tolerant of two USB joysticks. I see CC64S also has an 'adaptor 2' setting so if the OS handled it then I guess so would CC64S.

Does anybody else out there have a suggestion for using two joysticks? Some of my fav ...

Evesham Excelerator

Does anybody know if there is anyway to link this disk drive up to PC/CC64S. I don't really need it for games because they're all out there in D64 or T64 format but I wouldn't mind retrieving my BASIC programs.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Still unsure about USB joysticks

Before buying, would like to confirm how I can use two joysticks with CCS64; I'm thinking of buying two USB competition pros.
Will it just be a case of plugging both into USB ports or will some setting and calibration be required? Like I said, I can't see a USB option under the joystick options of ...

Thank you for informative reply. I'll probably get myself a Competition Pro. BTW How does one configure that in CCS64? I didn't see an option for USB port in the Joystick options.

I searched Google for an adaptor that supports two joysticks (and would be supported by CC64S) without luck. Do you ...

Joystick options

I tried unsuccessfuly to set up my PC joystick for CCS64. It's probably me doing something wrong but then I thought what I really need is a digital joystick anyhow. I'd appreciate some experience based advice on which way I should go:

Does a digital joystick exist for the PC joystick port?

Is ...
