CCS64 V2.0 BETA isn't being developed/Bug-fixed any more. Does this bug still occur with CCS64 V3.0 BETA?

Yes, I know. Unfortunately, I'm not able to start up V3.0 BETA (which I have written in another message). Therefore, I'm stuck with using V2.0 BETA. I will continue to post errors I may ...

Another bug when using CCS64 V2.0 B with TFCIII .crt image

There is a problem with the KILL command of the Final Cartridge III when using a TFCIII .crt image with VICE V2.0 Beta. (The KILL command should shut down TFCIII.)

Do the following:

1. Leave the TFCIII desktop and go to BASIC.
2. Issue the KILL command. Now, the screen clears and the colors are ...

Sound bug in CCS 2.0 Beta when playing the game Loco

There is a sound problem in CCS 2.0 Beta when playing the game Loco. The sound problem occurs when you die, i.e. when the locomotive breaks apart. What then happens on a real C64 or in VICE is that there is a noise while the locomotive breaks apart. Then, it gets all quiet and the game waits for you ...

It's a Compaq Presario 5670 computer with an ATI 3D RAGE LT PRO graphics card. When I look in the Device Manager for information about driver version I see that the the file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MACXW4.DRV has version 4.10.2411 and that C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MACXW4.VXD has version 4.10.2415. The drivers ...

I just switched from 16-bit to 24-bit colors (which is what I used in the past as well, I only recently switched to 16-bit colors). That seems to make the flashing line when using Alt + TAB with CCS 2.0 disappear :D . Sadly enough, I still can't start up CCS 3.0 Beta 1.2.

Flashing line at bottom of screen

On May 30 2002, I wrote the following on the Lemon forum:

... However, there is another problem that I find a bit annoying. I can't switch to another program using Alt+Tab and then back to CCS64 again. If I do that, I get a purple flashing line at the bottom of the screen in CCS64 and I have to ...

I get the same error (see the posting http://www.computerbrains.com/ccs64/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31&sid=fd369c64e70cb4608239a789303d311a I made under CCS64 Usability Problems in this forum for more information). As I wrote there, I also get a message that there must be at least 65536 colors, which is ...

Bug when using a TFC III .crt file

I have found an error in CCS64 V2.0 Beta when using a the Final Cartridge III .crt file. In the Desktop in TFC III you can read the directory of a disk and move around files in the directory or insert lines (the lines are "DEL" files). When I try to write back the changes I have done in the ...

Error starting CCS64 V3.0 Beta 1.2

I use Windows 98 first edition with DirectX v9.0b.

I just downloaded CCS64 V3.0 Beta 1.2. I have CCS64 V2.0 installed since earlier and that works fine. However, when I try to start CCS64 V3.0 Beta 1.2 I get the following errors.

1. First, a window appears where it says "Direct3D Init FAILED ...
