G64 files: Can they work on CCS and if so, how?

Hi everyone,

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, could not really find where to put it...

Anyway, I wonder, do G64-imagefiles work on CCS, and if so, how?
As the G64-format was meant to be interchangeable between emulators, I am surprised that the file type is not actually recognised by ...

Hi Vesta,

Boulder Dash is a fiddly one to get going.
Once the game has loaded you need to check (and possibly change, by Swap Ports (Press and hold Alt, then hit F10, then release both)) which joystick port you are using, then hit the key you defined as fire to start the game.

Yes it is possible to use a key for one of the Swedish letters. But...
You need to have/get/create a character set that is loaded in the place of the regular one before you can define which key is changed.

That would be because you have not (yet) defined the keystrokes you want to use to emulate a joystick.
Find Options in that row of commands along the top of the screen and then select Input. There select "Define joystick keyset" to get a ...

From what you are writing, I suppose you are trying to type in a listing that has been printed out in a different kind of letter than the standard commodore 64 font.
