Getting past cracked game intros???

Hello,
I'm new to emulating with C64 and have been able to play most games, but some games start up with an intro from who cracked the game and I can't figure out which key to press to get past it.

I have looked at the pdf file for the keyboard have had no luck. Can anyone recommend a site where I can review the old C64 keyboard mapping.

Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Usually, if you press the <SPACE BAR> or a Fire button (on the keyboard or on your joystick), that will get you past the intro-screen. Check your Input... settings in the emulator.

Many Thanks! I forgot about pushing the “RUN”/”ESCAPE” key.

additionally..., sometimes if your stuck on an intro/crack screen that has "cheat options" available, sometimes you cant seem to scroll to the bottom of the cheat list to select the option similar to something like "click here to start game"

when this happens - hit F9 to get back into the emulator settings - go into Options-->Inputs and change your inputs to "paddles with keysets" (you'll have to play about here with this till you find the option that works for you - usually Control Port 2 --> Paddles with "my specific" keyset 2)

then Escape to exit back out to the cheat screen to see if you are now able move up and down the cheat list (sometimes using Space Bar or Enter keys to select options)

I use the keyboard and keysets as my input for C64 games and find this happens on occasion (for example The Last Ninja cheat/crack screen)

Maybe this does not happen if your using some kind of joystick as your input.
