PS/PS2 Control Pads

Hey there everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had any success using their Playstation pads with this particular emulator? Perhaps it is just wishful thinking on my behalf, but I purchased a usb adapter enabling me to plug my pads into my pc solely for the purpose of using them for emulated classics. This has been succesful with emulations of the newer consoles etc, but I would love to use it on a C64 emulator.

Please help. Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

P.S. Does anyone remember the game where you drove a red car after yellow enemy vehicles, with a plane/heli dropping a weapon onto your cars roof every so often? I would love to know the title. Cheers.

Dukes of Hazzard maybe? It has a red car and a heli dropping bombs.

Nope, it definitely isn't anything as 'mainstream' as that, although it was a popular game at several arcades in the 80's. I am not even 100% sure it was ever released on a console, but it is REALLY bugging me trying to remember what it was called.

All I really remember is that you had a weapon dropped onto your roof from above at various points within the level, and I seem to remember it firing or having to collect quite large coloured spheres at some point.

Be interesting to see if anyone remembers it. :o)

Another guess: Turbo Charge?
Also a red car chasing other cars and a heli dropping bombs on your roof.
