Might and Magic 1 - Secret of the Inner Sanctum - Disk 3

I've tried 3 different versions of this d64 set and none of them will recognize disk 3 when I attach it to the drive.
If anyone wants to test, all you have to do is grab some party members and head for the outside area.
When it says to press ctrl you have to press the ~ on your pc keyboard.
Movement keys are as follows
N = Forward
S = Back
Turn Right = K
Turn Left = J
To quickly attempt to load the outside move as follows from load in point:
Forward
Forward
Forward
Forward
Turn Right
Forward
Forward
Forward
Forward
Turn Right
Forward
Forward
Forward
Forward
Forward
Forward
Forward
This will bring you to the exit.
Change disk to Disk 3, it will start to load then give you this screen.
No matter what I do from here, I can get no further.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I stopped playing the PC version to relive the orginal c64 version, leveling in the town and dungeon under the town for a week, only to finally try to venture outside and meet this roadblock.
Thanks

Well... I did as was suggested for my Moebius problem and downloaded the version from Maygar (I pray that site never closes now)...
I am now simultaneously jumping for joy and crying a river.
Behold...
Sadly... I must start my characters over from scratch...again...because this version 2 wont work with the version 1 character disk.
Oh wells.... At least if someone else has this problem they might find the answer here before putting in the time that I did on leveling up characters.
All hail the C64!

Well.... here I am again. New problem.
With the disks from Maygar, now I cant save new characters.
Anytime the game goes to alter data on the disk, I just get a blue screen.
Any ideas?

You really need to get non-corrupt images of that game. Also try different versions of the C1541.ROM/KERNAL.ROM files with CCS64.

Yeah, the image from Maygar specifically states "CCS64" so I had high hopes. As I wrote this I tried one more thing. Of the multitude of images I found for this game, I decided to try using all the disks from one of the versions I found instead of just trying to use there disk 3 with my original version.
I thought since they looked like the same version they should work with each other. I was wrong. Just testing it now, with one of the versions I found I am now finally able to :
A. Alter disk images
and
B. Go outside using disk C.
I think I am good to go now!
Thanks for your quick response.
If anyone needs this version, just let me know on this thread and (if I see it) I can email it to you, or some other file sharing method if preferable. I Maybe I will link it to a site. Hold on...

I would love to get that working version of this game if you see this thread (Looks like that link is no longer there). Im going to play MMI on here eventually when I finish Wasteland, it's another one of my fave's.
