Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site and I have been trying to get my joystick to work with Elite. My joystick is a Saitek Cyborg 3D Platinum USB. I have calibrated it within Windows XP and within CCS64 and it's fine. When I go to use it in Elite, it either fails to work, or works but incorrectly. I have tried using the various Input options, including the various Key-sets, but with no joy. Can anyone help me? I can't wait to start playing Elite again after 20 years!

Funny you ask. I just setup Elite to work with my Xbox gamepad. Elite was primarily a keyboard driven game in its day.

I used joytokey which is a utility that will map your joystick to keys and allow you to control any/all aspects of Elite. If you have any specific questions, let me know.
