Hey, ive read a few of the subjects on this and im positive i have it set up right, but i cannot get the 'fire keys' to work, the buttons to move work ok, but no matter how i set up the keyboard and keyset, i cannot get any keyboard keys to work as the 'fire keys' or action keys. Could someone help me please im not sure if its me or a bug with my emulator

hey, thanks for the reply

for control port 1 i use - joystick, keyset 1
for control port 2 i use - joystick, keyset 2

and then i go to define joystick keyset, and ive tried using a whole bunch of different combonations for the two keysets, now i have it so keyset 1 is the cursor keys for movement, and fire keys as q,w,e
and for keyset 2 i have the number pad used and the fire buttons as a,s,d.
but no matter how i set it up, i can get the move keys to work, but no fire buttons work, and i try every button on the keyboard but none of them ever work, so im not sure whats goin on, any ideas?

thanks again

What type of keyboard are you using? Some strange ones require special character translation.

It sounds like you know how to configure it and your keyboard is standard. Are you using the latest emulator, and where ddi you get the ROM from?

Hmm. The only thing that I could think of is reinstalling the emulator, and also check your keyboard for full connectivity.

I use the set-up in the following HTML Instructions:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stuart.too ... b_help.htm

I am using a Dell Wireless Keyboard and I have had no problems with CCS64 for quite a while now. Make sure that you are not mapping any keys to any of the 'special' (i.e. pre-defined) keys.
