Scarabaeus map layout always the same

Hi there!
Scarabaeus normally generates random maps for each game.
I noticed that under CCS the first map in this game will always be the same when you first start it.
So you have to die first (which takes a while) to get a new random map.
I also noticed that VICE doesn't have this problem and creates a new map every time you start the game for the first time.
Any guesses why?
