There is a sound problem in CCS 2.0 Beta when playing the game Loco. The sound problem occurs when you die, i.e. when the locomotive breaks apart. What then happens on a real C64 or in VICE is that there is a noise while the locomotive breaks apart. Then, it gets all quiet and the game waits for you to press SPACE or the Fire button to restart. However, when the locomotive breaks apart in CCS64, there is no noise. Instead, there is a tone from the music in the game that seems to be frozen in time. This tone keeps on sounding forever until you press Fire or SPACE, i.e. it keeps on sounding when there is silence on a real C64 or in VICE.

You can find Loco on the following disk image: http://w1.865.comhem.se/~u86517142/Disk ... pel_kg.zip .

Yep, I have never noticed this before but my copy of Loco shows the same flaw. Bummer. Maybe it works better with the new 3.x version?

Hakan knows that he needs to improve the SID emulation, but this is a long-term improvement.
