"Parallel Cable" Option Not Staying "off"

I just upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and reinstalled CCS64. The only issue I am having is the "Parallel cable" option keeps resetting to "on" every time I start the emulator. I want it to stay off. I have never seen this issue before. Does anyone know how to keep it set to "off"?
