keyboard input problem

I am using a Dell laptop. I have read the file at

but still can't get my keyboard to move anything. I am trying to play "Apocalypse Now".

I entered a different keyset than the one given for key set 3 to avoid any problems if the game needed the arrow keys for selecting menus.

but still no key works for moving anything.

Does ccs64 only work on desktops that have a separate numeric keypad with separate arrows and numbers?

thank you for any help. just joined the forum and would really love to play my old favorite games from childhood.

No, I play on CCS64 V3.7 successfully on a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista.
