CCS64 3.7 does not work in Win98 / WinME

Hi,

I have an old computer that I use for old games. I am running WinME with DirectX 9.0c but when try to run CCS64 3.7, I get error message saying that "a new operating system is expected; upgrade your operating system." According to the 3.7 documention, it supports Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista with DirectX v9.0 or later. I have tried Win98 on the same machine but I get same error. I try version 3.6 and it runs no problems.

Does 3.7 no longer support older Windows? If not, then documention is wrong. If so, then maybe a bug?

Thank you,
Maud

Hi. This problem was due to CCS64 V3.7 being compiled with Visual Studio 2008, which is better for compatibility and speed with Windows 7, but does not give compatibility with Windows 98/ME. Before, CCS64 V3.x was compiled with Visual Studio 2005.
