Anyone tried "Colonial Conquest"?

First off, I am in heaven now that I have found this emulator. Took a bit of time to figure things out, but the CCS64 Knowledge Base is fantastic!!
I'm trying to play Colonial Conquest as downloaded from c64.com and I can't get past the first options screen.
Most other games I've tried worked fine once I changed to Keyset 3, but not this one.
Any advice would be greatly appreicated!
