Printing problems

I'm trying to print using Make your own Murder Party (I've been trying for years to get this to work again).

However, when I choose print, it just seems to hang there and not do anything.

Any ideas?

Printing tends to not be a very fast process on the C64, so you may have to wait a while for anything to happen. Usually, though, there's an on-screen indicator that will let you know that the program is, indeed, in the process of printing something.

Now, because of differences in the way PC and C64 printers work, CCS64 can't just capture output to the emulated printer and relay it to your actual printer. Instead, (if I remember right,) this output is stored in a text file in your CCS64 directory, so you can review it later in Notepad, make any adjustments if necessary, and then print if you want. Look for a file named "PRINTER4.TXT" or something similar.

That I did understand, that it would go to a txt file. However, there was no indication.

I'll keep trying different things I guess

Ok, just tried again and it appears to just hang when I try to print.

Go grab the "host your own murder party" files and give it a go.

Just frustrating...
