Last night I found an old game I used to play when I was a child, it's called the last Ninja 2, and after downloading the DirectX 9 exe i got it to load. Everything seems to work fine, until the game is started and the character is ready to be moved. No matter what I push on the keyboard the character won't move, the Esc and F-keys work, but besides that nothing happens. :-(
I have tryed the diffenret input settings, I have:

Joystick, Pc Gameport 1
Joystick, Pc Gameport 2
Mouse C1351, Pc Gameport 1
Mouse C1351, Pc Mouse
Paddles, Pc Gameport 1 + Pc Mouse
Paddles, Pc Mouse + Pc Mouse

Hope someone has an idear of what I'm doing wrong, I would really love to play this old game again.

Edit:
I just tryed a couple of other games, it's all the games I try which has the problem, it probably has somthing to do with what my input device is set to, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

1. Try an other version of game (100%) :

http://www.c64.com/download.php?id=729& ... inja2b.d64

2. Try to use : Joysick - Key-Set 3 and if you can walk with your arrowkeys then your pad (or joy) is not 100% compatible...

After loading the disk image press ALT + 8 and select the second file to load.

Hmm... When I type ALT+F8 I only change the input device type.
Played a little around with ALT+F8 in the game which I could start. Seems like when in keyset 2 or 3 the first fire button make the character move, its runs, but not straight or to the side, but both at the same time, and he moves choppy. Could my problem be I have a joystick plugged in at a USB port, or the fact that my Keyboard is a USB keyboard??
