Some demo/game have problem with the Kernal Roms provided with CCS, actually a Rev. 2 rom.
Using Rev. 3 Rom (the one provided with WinVice for example) solves most problems.

Yes, that was discovered recently. Some games/demos/cartirgdes work better with certain Kernel ROM Revisions than others. Apart from in specific cases, you are recommended to use Revision 3 (the last revision) of the C64 Kernel ROM.
