Help using the keyboard

Post by DropZone »

I know this is a very stupid question, but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm trying to key in old programs that I have from way back when (Compute! mag and old school books) just for the fun of it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to move the cursor about in the screen! I vaguely recall my C=64 having cursor keys, I *think* there were only 2 and you had to shift in order to get all 4 2-dimensional movements, but I can't get this to work on CCS64.

I've seen the JoyKey settings, but is there a way to configure the keyboard map?

And btw... can someone post (or point me to a resource) a sample keymap of the CCS64 to a 101-key PC keyboard? Thanx! GREAT EMULATOR!!! aaaaaw the memories! :)

Nevermind... turns out that in my eagerness to play with CCS64 when I first downloaded, I inadvertedly changed the JoyKey mapping and was using the cursor keys. I put it back as default and everything seems to work now :)
