Post by sparky_girl »

Sorry if this has already been posted..but I was trying to figure out how to run California games...couldn't figure out how to get the game to run...just got an Eagle with text running at the bottom..but no matter what key I pressed..it would go to a blank screen. Any help would be great!

Hmmm I`ve tried this way, but it still won`t start...any other way to do it? I get "insert disk 3" when I run the disk cg1.d64.....

I've just come across the same problem but have worked out the solution in case anyone is interested:
  • - Select 1541 Device 8... and choose cg3boot.d64
    - Select the "CALIFORNIA GAMES" PRG and press Enter to load
    - Once the Eagle 'ESI' image has loaded press the space bar
    - After a few moments the California Games logo should have loaded, in which case press the space bar
    - You should now see the words "PLEASE INSERT SIDE 1"
    - Press F9, go back to the list of ROMs and choose cg1.d64
    - Highlight the "CGAMES SIDE 1" PRG and press 's', then press the space bar to load 'Side 1'
Should do the trick.
