That can be done in any program by using the "Freeze" function, which saves the entire emulator state in a special "Freeze" file.

If you mean under the 1541 emulation, go to :

-> OPTIONS... -> 1541 Emulation (on) -> Saving -> set to ASK AT DISKCHANGE

now when you save on disk and change it - you will be asked to save or not. Second option is, go to :

-> OPTIONS... -> 1541 Emulation (on) -> Saving -> set to CONTINOUSLY

now every change on the disk will be saved !

:wink: allright now ?

OK, try this at home:

1. -> Take a .d64 file - copy it to an other filename eg: empty.d64
2. -> Take this to your 1541 device ( ALT+8 ) select the disk and aktivate with F1
3. -> Now enter : OPEN 1,8,15,"N:DISKNAME*,00" press Return ( *: 16 Characters max.! )
4. -> ( I hope you have the MAXIMUM 1541 SPEED ON! ) Then enter : LOAD"$",8 and LIST the empty disk...

5 -> PUUUH ! Now you have a blank disk - copy this in windows several times for the future :wink:

OR - ill send you one - MUHA ! :lol:

HAVE FUN - C= IS BETTER THAN C++ :shock:

I definitely recommend creating a save disk for longer games such as the add gold box games and pirates. I have found that the freeze save option can be a little buggy at times. have had no probs at all in using a save disk.
