Not understanding keyboard mapping...

I'm having a great deal of trouble doing, well, anything with the emulator, largely because my "Enter" key doesn't seem to be being accepted, which makes it difficult to use the built-in key mapping tools. I'm using a Logitech keyboard and 64-bit Vista. Any ideas?
