Hello, friends.
You'd probably be a bit surprised to hear that there are still people interested in running CCS64 in DOS. So far, the last release for DOS was 2.0B, and the new 3.0 release, which has probably fixed a lot of bugs and features greater optimisations, has not been ported to DOS.
It'd be very interesting to know if there are any plans to port newer versions to DOS. I suppose (but may be wrong) that the old DOS port base still exists and it's just a matter of interest from other people that determines whether the DOS port would be updated or not. Is that correct?
Thank you.

That's sad, because I am only able to run the DOS-Version with smooth scrolling and full 50fps since years with different computers. As far as I know, there are no plans to port CCS64 V3.0 BETA to MS-DOS. CCS64 V3.0 BETA was created for greater MS-Windows compatibility.
I am not able to get the DirectX-Versions to run at 50fps, while the old DOS-Version even under a XP-environment runs like a charm
(Athlon XP 3200+ with Radeon 9800 Pro with DirectX-Version is stuttering while a six year old Celeron 400MHz Computer runs a smooth 50fps DOS-Version...)
Maybe there will another updated DOS-Version?
