Hi there,
It's my first post, so I guess I should begin by saying thanks for letting me relive my Commodore 64 days on my Vista PC! :)

I'm having problems with the game "Blagger".

I've mapped the keys etc, correctly, but everytime I press the left cursor, the sprite goes left AND jumps too. It seems to be doing this on all versions of Blagger that I can find.

I've tried re-mapping the keys, but that doesn't help.

Can anyone point me to a .d64 of Blagger that doesn't have this problem?

Many thanks!

Chris

Are you using the cursor keys on the numeric keypad or the other set of arrow keys?

It's worth noting that the real C64 only had two crsr keys, one for down and one for right. To go up and left, you'd press Shift with one of those keys. CCS64 does this for you automatically when you press the left and up arrow keys, which may cause confusion if you have "shift" mapped to some other function.

If you're using the numeric keypad to emulate a joystick, this won't happen. However, using a joystick in port 1 tends to create some false keyboard inputs, which some programs aren't smart enough to ignore. This is why most programs use port 2 instead. I'm not sure which port Blagger uses, but you can try fiddling with your input settings accordingly.
